Umbrella stands and two-faced stems. Even though the essentiality
of the shape presents itself as changeable and different, according
to different point of views, it reveals unexpected qualities. The round shape at the very base of the flowerpot transforms into an ellipse at the upper border. The perception of the object changes according to the distance one chooses to observe it from. Giano designed by Luisa Bocchietto, is the first non-flowerpot object by Serralunga.
