The fifth edition of the Rotational Design competition, which in 2008 held the theme of rotational moulding and water, has received 267 projects from 390 designers from all over the world. The competitors' ideas were scrutinised by a jury made up of teachers from the main design schools and rotational moulding specialists during a meeting in Belfast last September 11, 2008.

The jury evaluate the projects in competition for their practical feasibility, originality and rate the standard of the presentation.

The special prize of euro 1.500 went to Igor Grbic from Wien, Austria for a swimming pool for children.
